Sautéed vegetables sandwich


  • 8 slices Whole wheat bread
  • 200 Gms Spinach
  • 150 Gms Assorted peppers
  • 125 Gms Button Mushroom, sliced
  • 5 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Low Fat Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste


Cut peppers into julienne size, keep it aside. Take a pan put little olive oil. Heat the oil, put chopped garlic, as it turns into golden brown, put peppers, mushrooms, sauté for a while. Add spinach & seasonings. Cook for a while, so that all the water should be evaporated. Take bread toast it. Put the spread on the bread and cover with other slice and serve hot.
